KIEV, Jan. 3 – The Council of Ministers of Crimea has permitted the drawing up of a project on utilization of land and allocated 765.55 hectares on the territory of Bakhchysarai, Sovetsky, Bilohirsky and Chervonohvardiysk districts to build wind farms to France's Filasa International, the director of the Ukrainian subsidiary of Filasa – Krym-Eol LLC (Sudak, Crimea), Oleksandr Vanheliy, told Interfax-Ukraine.
"An important decision has been made and I think that in spring will start building a wind farm," he said.
Bakhchysarai wind farm (Bakhchysarai district), Turgenevska wind farm (Bilohirsky and Chervonohvardiysk districts) and Kholmohirska wind farm (Sovetsky and Bilohirsky districts) with the generating capacity of 200 megawatt each will be built.
