KIEV, Dec. 29 - Mykolaiv-based state-run Zorya-Mashproekt gas turbine scientific production complex has made and supplied an experimental gas turbine with the capacity of 2.2 megawatt under an order of Poland's EuropeanSiliconSp. under the European energy saving project.
The company said that the turbine made by the Ukrainian partner is a part of the new heat recovery system of a steel mill.
"The heat recovery system has been designed by Polish specialists under the European program on reduction of energy consumption and aimed at recovering heat generated by a fast furnace. The minimum amount of fuel will be consumed: the required amount of gas will be consumed only with the launch of the facility and regulation of engine parameters during its operation," the company said.
