KIEV, Dec. 27 – Inflation in Ukraine will slow down from 9.2% last year to 4.4%-4.5% this year, Prime Minister Mykola Azarovn said.
"For the first time, we end the year with normal indicators of inflation - with 4.4%, 4.5% at most," the government's press service quoted the premier as saying at a meeting of the economic press club.
According to Azarov, the government managed to ensure the growth of the gross domestic product (GDP), and simultaneously prevent overheating of the economy, which would be accompanied by a high inflation rate.
