KIEV, Dec. 26 - Russia's desire to maintain its advantages under the current gas contracts with Ukraine is the main obstacle to concluding the gas negotiations, Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.

Asked by a Facebook user about the progress of Ukraine's gas negotiations with Russia, Azarov said that the main feature of these negotiations is that Ukraine wants to revise the existing agreement, which is set to operate for another eight years.
