KIEV, Dec. 20 - The reform of labor laws, issues of labor and wage market legalization, protection of the rights of children and amendments to tax laws are to be of top priority in the government's work in 2012, according to Vice Premier and Social Policy Minister Serhiy Tyhypko.
"One important task will be the adoption of the Labor Code, which has been in effect since 1970s without radical changes. We also need changes to tax laws. First, this will concern mechanisms that are in effect for transactions with countries where taxes are smaller compared to our taxes – these are Cyprus, some cantons in Switzerland and Lichtenstein," he said at a online conference on his page in Facebook, the vice premier's press service reported on December 17, 2011.
Tyhypko said that it is important to pass draft laws on luxury tax and transactions with classical offshore zones.
