DNIPROPETROVSK, Dec. 15 – Ukrainian metals companies cut gas consumption by 5.8% or 24 million cubic meters in November compared to October, to 388 million cubic meters, the Dnipropetrovsk-based Metallurgprom association said.

The association said that average daily natural gas consumption by metals companies in November came to 12.9 million cubic meters.

In the 11 months to November 2011, average daily gas consumption totaled 14.4 million cubic meters compared to 14 million cubic meters year-over-year and 14.2 million cubic meters in 2010.
