KIEV, Dec. 12 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture has reduced its wheat export forecast for Ukraine in the 2011-2012 agricultural year (July 2011-June 2012) by 12.5%, from eight million tons to seven million tons, the USDA said on its website.
According to the USDA, its estimate for domestic Ukrainian consumption has been raised form 12.5 million tons to 13 million tons. The forecast for carryover reserves increased from 4.89 million tons to 5.39 million tons of wheat.
