KIEV, Dec. 8 – Lithuania is still interested in buying supplies of Ukrainian electricity, Marius Yanukonis, Lithuanian Assistant Ambassador to Ukraine said.
"The issue is on the agenda today. We're still interested in acquiring Ukrainian electricity, but we should have a trilateral agreement [with Belarus], which we haven't yet signed," he told Interfax-Ukraine.
He said that the sides continue consultations on the issue and expect to settle it.
"We continue consultations and hope that we'll arrive at a decision, but unfortunately, there is no certain progress in the issue," he added.
