KIEV, Dec. 5 – The currency inflow to Ukraine from January to November 2011 came to some $14 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine announced.
"Since the start of the year, almost $14 billion has been sent to Ukraine. Even today, when the economic situation in the world is difficult, we have an inflow of currency," said NBU Governor Serhiy Arbuzov.
As reported, the central bank assessed the size of net foreign currency inflow from non-residents in the first ten months of 2011 at over $12 billion in the dollar equivalent.
