KIEV, Nov. 28 – Pechersky District Court of Kiev has ordered the arrest of Volodymyr Halytsky, head of the State Employment Service.
Halytsky's defense team said that he had been in detention for two months.
The court issued a ruling on Monday after considering a motion lodged by the Prosecutor General's Office.
"The court ruled to satisfy the motion of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine and choose arrest as the measure of restraint for Halytsky," reads the court's ruling, which was announced on Monday.
