KIEV, Sept. 9 - First National, Ukraine's state television, has acquired 1% stake in a company that owns EuroNews, a pan-European 24-hour television news network, enabling it re-broadcast the programs in Ukrainian language.

First National, which is 100% owned by the state, islikely to further increase the stake in SECEMIE, whose largest shareholders include France Televisions, RAI Italy and RTVE Spain and RTR of Russia.
