KIEV, Nov. 25 – The District Administrative Court of Kiev has declared illegal an order by the Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry on a mechanism of travel to the Chernobyl exclusion zone by Ukrainian citizens and foreigners that is not envisaged by the law on the legal regime of this territory, the Prosecutor General's Office reported on Friday.

"The said appeal was lodged in June this year, as the Ukrainian Emergencies Ministry rejected a protest by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office against the specified mechanism. The court declared as justified the position of the prosecutor's office regarding the violation of the requirements of the law during its approval by the ministry," reads the statement.
