KIEV, Nov. 23 – The Bortnychi sewage treatment works has reached the maximum permissible threshold of the content of phosphate in sewage water discharged into the River Dnipro after purification, the head of the works, Volodymyr Brazhnyk, said.
"At the moment, the treatment facilities of the Bortnychi sewage treatment works are facing a very critical situation. The level of phosphates that are being discharged from the treatment facilities has practically reached the top permissible limit," Brazhnyk said.
