KIEV, Sept. 10 - Former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko said Friday her party won't render any support for the to-be-formed government and will compete with President Viktor Yushchenko's group at the general election in March 2006.

The comments, made 24 hours after her dismissal, indicate that Tymoshenko has been turning into a soft opposition, splitting the once united team that had led Yushchenko to the presidency last year.
