KIEV, Nov. 16 – Ukraine's Parliament has ratified a financial agreement entitled "European Roads Ukraine II", signed between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank on a EUR 450 million loan for the repair and upgrade of highways radiating from Kiev.
A bill on the ratification of the "European Roads Ukraine II" agreement (a project for rehabilitation and quality improvement of highways radiating from Kiev) was supported by 338 out of the registered 396 MPs.
The agreement was signed on May 27, 2011.
The conditions of the financial agreement are advantageous to Ukraine, according to Yevhen Prusenko, the head of the State Road Service (Ukravtodor), who presented the bill in parliament.
