KIEV, Nov. 15 – Ukrainian banks January through October 2011 repaid UAH 6.5 billion in refinancing loans ahead of schedule, according to Yuriy Kolobov, the first deputy governor of the National Bank of Ukraine.

"Over the 10 months, the National Bank of Ukraine has been repaid UAH 14.8 billion in refinancing, including UAH 6.5 billion paid ahead of schedule," he said at an open meeting of the NBU board on Tuesday.
