KIEV, Nov. 11 – A project of the UN Development Program entitled "Consideration of Ecological Factors during Strategic Planning at the Regional Level of Areas Affected by the Chernobyl Disaster" will be carried out in Ukraine from 2012, UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine Olivier Adam reported in Kiev.

He said that Poland financed this project and that it is planned to last for two years.

"This project will be carried out on the pilot territories in Rokytne district of Rivne region, Bohuslav district of Kiev region, and in Korosten town and Korosten district of Zhytomyr region," UNDP Senior Program Manager Serhiy Volkov said.
