KIEV, Nov. 11 - The State Statistics Service on January 1, 2012 will augment its Ukrainian consumer basket with nine items, raising the total number to 335.

The director of the statistics department, Olha Kalabukha, said at a press conference on Friday that the consumer basket would include housing rent services, babysitting services, paid medical services and insurance services.

In addition, the service plans to include such technical equipment as USB flash drives and laptops to the consumer basket.
