Ukraine oil extraction off 5.9% through Oct. 31, government reports

KIEV, Nov. 11 - There was 2.011 million tons of oil extracted in Ukraine in January-October, a 5.9% or 125,600 ton year-on-year decrease, a source at the country's Energy and Coal Industry Ministry told Interfax.

There was 765,300 tons of gas condensate produced during this period, 7.3% or 765,300 tons less year-on-year.

National joint-stock company Naftogaz Ukrayiny's enterprises produced 5.1% or 102,400 tons less oil (1.89 million tons in all) and 11% or 81,300 less gas condensate (660,000 tons).

Ukrnafta extracted 6.1% less oil in January-October (1.744 million tons) and 33.3% less gas condensate (157,800 tons). Ukrgazvydobuvannia produced 7.9% more oil (138,100 tons), but gas condensate remained unchanged at 446,300 tons. Chornomornaftogaz production did not change, being 7,300 tons, but 4.4% less gas condensate (55,900 tons).
