KIEV, Nov. 8 – The main emphasis of preparations for the Euro 2012 football championship next year will be placed on transport, which includes the launch of high-speed trains between host cities and the completion of all road projects, Infrastructure Minister Borys Kolesnikov said.
"In 2012, big changes for the better will be seen on Ukrainian railways. The cities that are hosting Euro 2012 will get high-speed trains. We're actively working with South Korea's Hyundai in this direction. We've bought ten trains for the championship from the company," he said in an interview with Lviv's Express newspaper, the Ukrainian 2012 information portal reported.
