KIEV, Nov. 8 – The law on industrial parks will allow $8 billion in investment in the Ukrainian economy to be raised in three or four years and will create over 300,000 jobs, according to Natalia Korolevska, head of the parliamentary committee for industrial and regulatory policy.
"We believe that the realization of our draft law [No. 8396 on industrial parks] will create over 300,000 jobs in three or four years and attract at least $8 billion of direct foreign investment to the Ukrainian economy," she said at a roundtable in Parliament devoted to the public discussion of the draft law, the press service of the lawmaker reported.
She said that with the help of industrial parks, the dependency of the country's economy on imports could be reduced through the revival of national commodity producers.
