KIEV, Nov. 7 - Ukraine threshed 52.4 million tons of grain as of November 7, 28.83% more than the same date in 2010, according to the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry.

Grain and leguminous crops were harvested from 14.57 million hectares, or 95% of the target figure. The average yield of these crops across the country is 36 centners (one centner equals 100 kilograms or 220.46 pounds) per hectare, against 28.2 centners per hectare last year.
