KIEV, Nov. 3 – The trade union of ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region) is insisting the company's administration urgently sign a sector agreement for 2011-2012.
An address of the trade union committee published in the trade union's newspaper expresses anxiety at the situation at the enterprise, which is said was cause for rather justifiable alarm and which creates grounds for unrest in the workforce.
The trade union said that ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih is the only large employer in the sector not to sign the sector agreement for 2011-2012. The agreement was signed in May-June by the owners of companies and organizations of the metals and mining sector and the trade union of the metal and mining sector.
