KIEV, Nov. 1 – The government has asked the National Bank of Ukraine to hold commercial banks back from boosting consumer crediting by toughening requirements on individual borrowers.

The position is stipulated in cabinet resolution No. 1074-r published in the official mass media on Tuesday on the approval of a plan of measures to overcome the deficit of the balance of foreign trade.
