KIEV, Oct. 31 – Several thousand entrepreneurs and representatives of about 250 civil society organizations from all over Ukraine are to participate in a protest outside the Parliament building on November 3, according to Andriy Panaetov, chief of the staff of the Forward! Rally.

"Earlier, the authorities built a coffin for entrepreneurs through their so-called 'reforms,' and now, through anti-national bill No. 8521 [on a simplified taxation system], they have already prepared a coffin lid and nails. Small business is being sacrificed to populism and irresponsibility. But we will not wait, with folded hands, and watch the most active class of society – entrepreneurs – being destroyed. After all, we are feeding not only ourselves and our families, but also bringing huge amounts of money to the budget in the form of taxes and deductions. And on November 3, we are planning to take to the streets and force [the authorities] to take account of our opinion," Panaetov said on Monday.
