KIEV, Oct. 27 – The All-Ukrainian Association of Automobile Importers and Dealers is initiating an increase in the period of storage of automobiles in bonded warehouses without customs clearance from three to 12 months, Director General Oleh Nazarenko announced.
The association has submitted the initiative to the State Customs Service.
"The proposal was perceived normally as a normal European standard," said Nazarenko.
According to Nazarenko, the limit on the period of storage of automobiles in a bonded warehouse without customs clearance does not interfere with the market at present because foreign-made automobiles do not stay too long at the border but sold quickly and there is even a shortage of them.
