KIEV, Oct. 25 – Interpipe, a pipe and wheel company, has begun cold tests of the Dniprostal steel smelting complex (Dnipropetrovsk), reads a statement made by the company.
On October 21, Interpipe jointly with general contractor Danieli Heavy Machinery Engineering (Dnipropetrovsk, subsidiary of Italy's Danieli) proceeded to cold tests of Dniprostal, the first steelmaking factory built from scratch in Ukraine over the last 40 years.
The first stage of testing of the new electric furnace steelmaking will last until the end of November.
