KIEV, Oct. 21 – Kherson shipyard has started construction of a main product carrier tanker under the RST27 project for SVL companies (Malta).

The ceremonial laying of the ship’s keel took place on October 21.

According to Kherson Shipyard's Director General Vasyl Fedir, the ship was designed by the Marine Engineering Bureau (Odessa).

"Today we are launching a unique project. Everything made by shipyards in Ukraine is either upgrading or building of a hull. Kherson shipyard is the only plant providing complete shipbuilding," he said.
