KIEV, Oct. 20 – A mission from the International Monetary Fund is planning to work in Ukraine from October 25 to November 4, the IMF Resident Representative Office in Ukraine has announced.
The purpose of the visit is “to continue discussions on the second review under the Stand-By Arrangement (SBA) and the 2011 Article IV consultation," said IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Max Alier.
Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said earlier that the fund's mission would arrive in Ukraine on October 24.
The IMF decided to renew its loan partnership with Ukraine in the summer of 2010 through a new stand-by program.
