KIEV, Oct. 12 - Ukraine saw gas production fall by 0.6% in January-September 2011 year-on-year, to 14.984 billion cubic meters (bcm), with natural gas output falling by 0.5% to 14.362 bcm, the Energy and Coal Industry Ministry reported.
Naftogaz Ukrayiny enterprises over the period decreased gas production by 2% or by 270.2 million cubic meters, to 13.476 bcm, including 12.974 bcm of natural gas, which was 2.3% or 302.8 million cubic meters less.
Ukrgazvydobuvannia increased output by 0.3%, to 11.124 bcm, with natural gas output falling by 0.2%, to 10.992 bcm. Ukrnafta reduced gas production by 13.4%, to 1.617 billion cubic meters, and natural gas output by 15.2%, to 1.246 billion cubic meters, while Chornomornaftogaz cut natural gas production by 6.7%, to 735.3 million cubic meters.
