KIEV, Oct. 6 - The National Bank of Ukraine plans to independently organize gold production at the Northern State Geological Company Pivnichgeologiya.

"The National Bank has obtained management of the Pivnichgeologiya property complex in order to organize gold mining," NBU First Deputy Chairman Yuriy Kolobov told the press on Thursday.

Pivnichgeologiya was transferred to the management of the National Bank on October 1 in accordance with government instructions. The proposal was made by the State Geology and Mineral Resources Service and the National Bank.
