KIEV, Oct. 3 – The State Tax Service is not intending to collect the passport data of citizens who exchange foreign currency at banks and currency exchange offices, said State Tax Service head Vitaliy Zakharchenko.

"The resolution of the National Bank of Ukraine regarding the identification of individuals who exchange cash currency does not cancel the laws regulating bank secrecy and the protection of personal data. The powers of tax authorities do not cover this information, and we're not demanding this," said Zakharchenko.
