KIEV, Sept. 26 – Ukraine had threshed 38.4 million tons of grain as of September 26, which is 12.4% up on 2010, according to the Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry.

According to a ministry report, grain and leguminous crops were harvested from 12.2 million hectares, or 79% of the area forecast.

The average yield of these crops in the country was 31.4 centners per hectare, compared to 26.1 centners per hectare last year.
