KIEV, Sept. 26 – A total of UAH 8.9 billion will be needed to build a subway line to Troyeschyna residential area in Kiev and it will take over five years to realize the project, Kiev Metropoliten told Interfax-Ukraine.

The project for the Podilsko-Vyhurivska subway line from Hlybochytska station to Raiduzhna station with an overpass through Podil District passed state examination and was approved by a resolution of Kiev City Administration on May 20, 2008.
