Subsistence wage will grow 14% next year, according to deputy premier

KIEV, Sept. 22 – The subsistence wage in Ukraine will grow by 14% in 2012, First Deputy Prime Minister and Economic Development and Trade Minister Andriy Kliuyev said.

"Next year we'll provide for the financing of all social liabilities, as this is one of the substantial bases of our policy. The subsistence wage per person secured by the state will grow by 14%, and the minimum wage will be increased to the size of the subsistence wage," he said, presenting a draft law on the state program on economic and social development of Ukraine in 2012 and key directions of the country's development for 2012-2014.
