BAKU, Sept. 21 - Azerbaijani State Oil Company (SOCAR) considers joint implementation of deliveries of liquefied natural gas to Romania and Ukraine a possibility, SOCAR vice-president Elshad Nasirov told journalists on Wednesday.
Nasirov, commenting on possible supply of Azerbaijani LNG to Ukraine, said: "We've reached an agreement with Ukraine to form a joint venture within one or two months, which will prepare a technical and economic basis for the project for the supply of Azerbaijani gas to the Georgia coast of the Black Sea, which will be liquefied there and later transported to the Ukrainian coast. The JV will not design the dilution terminal in Ukraine. This is a Ukrainian issue".
