TBILISI, Sept. 3 - The East Capital Baring Ukraine Fund has bought 5.5% stake in the Bank of Georgia (Saqartvelos Banki) for 4.6 million lari ($2.6 million), the Georgian bank told Interfax on Thursday.

East Capital Baring Ukraine Fund has bought 670,000 stocks of an additional issue of shares made by the Georgian bank. The securities were sold for 6.93 lari per stock while its book value is 5.33 lari.
