KIEV, Sept. 19 – Ukraine is planning to increase electricity generation by 1.3% or by 2.601 billion kilowatt hours in 2012, to 200.19 billion kilowatt hours compared to the expected level of electricity generation in 2011.
This is according to a balance sheet forecast of the Ukrainian power grid presented in the draft law on the state program on social and economic development of Ukraine for 2012, which has been posted on the parliament's Web site.
