KIEV, Sept. 12 – Parliament has adopted a law making the counterfeiting of medicine and trafficking of fake medicine a crime.

Two hundred and fifty-seven MPs of the 356 registered in Parliament voted to approve the bill.

The law amends the Criminal Code, adding an article entitled "Medicine Counterfeiting or the Trafficking of Counterfeit Medicine."
