KIEV, Sept. 12 – Ukraine and the United States are planning to put into operation in 2012 one of key facilities for solid rocket fuel disposal from SS-24 intercontinental ballistic missiles at Pavlohrad Chemical Plant in Dnipropetrovsk region.
The State Space Agency of Ukraine said on Monday that the ceremony for laying the foundation for the special equipment for the elimination of solid rocket fuel and empty engines of intercontinental ballistic missiles took place in Pavlohrad with the participation of representatives from the U.S. Department of Defense.
