BRUSSELS, Sept. 9 – The head of the Ukrainian to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee has expressed concern over the impact of the case against opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko upon his country’s reputation and urged reconsideration of the case.

Describing the upcoming signing of an association agreement with the EU as "a historical opportunity, which must not be lost," European MP Kowal called for "a deep revision of the Tymoshenko case under international standards and procedures."
