KIEV, Sept. 8 – Ukraine has invited foreign countries and foreign energy companies to participate in an international conference on the modernization of Ukraine's gas transport system (GTS), which will be held in Kiev on September 29.

"I'm inviting you to a conference on the modernization of our gas transport system. To hold the conference is the decision taken jointly with EU Energy Commissioner Gunther Oettinger. I'm also inviting energy companies which work in our country to participate in the conference," Energy Minister Yuriy Boiko said.
