KIEV, Sept. 8 – The eighth Yalta Annual Meeting "Ukraine and the World: Common Challenges, Common Future" will take place in the Livadia Palace in Yalta on September 15-18, according to the organizers of the event.
On September 16, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and Israeli President Shimon Peres will deliver speeches to open the forum. The Yalta European Strategy and the Victor Pinchuk Foundation organize the annual meeting.
"The participants of the 8th YES forum will discuss new world processes in a time of change, opportunities and challenges for investment in Ukraine, as well as ways to balance the world economy. The main topics of the discussion also include Ukraine's relations with the European Union and Ukraine's prospects in the modern world. The forum will also tackle the role of Russia in global processes and international relations and models of the modernization of the state," reads the press release.
