KIEV, Aug. 29 – Chairman of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko met with Finnish Prime Minister Jyrki Tapani Katainen on Monday, during which he passed an invitation from Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov for Katainen to visit Ukraine in the near future.
According to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, the premier of Finland confirmed Helsinki's readiness to support Ukraine's European integration course, in particular, within the context of the completion of its talks with the European Union on an association agreement and the implementation of the EU Action Plan on the liberalization of the visa regime for Ukrainian citizens.
