KIEV, Aug. 29 – The surplus of Ukraine's consolidated balance of payments in July 2011 amounted to $108 million, compared to a deficit of $376 million in June, according to Valeriy Lytvytsky, the head of the group of advisors to the governor of the National Bank of Ukraine.
"All the key macroeconomic indicators signal a [good] start to the second half of the year," he told Interfax-Ukraine, noting that July saw deflation and higher economic growth rates.
