KIEV, Aug. 29 – Prime Minister Mykola Azarov warned his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin that Moscow’s refusal to renegotiate a controversial natural gas agreement will force Kiev to appeal to an international court, Korrespondent reported.
“You are driving us into a corner from which there is only way out – abrogating the agreement,” Azarov told Putin, according to Korrespondent.
This is not the first time that Azarov has threatened to abrogate the agreement through court, but it is the first time that the issue has been raised directly with Putin.
