KIEV, Aug. 17 - National energy company Ukrenergo sold 765 megawatts of electricity for export from September 1 to September 30 at an auction for access to the Ukrainian power grid for UAH 7,000.
Seven out of 14 lots of electricity put up for sale were sold at the initial price of UAH 1,000 each, as only one company took part in the auction.
DTEK Skhidenergo Ltd. bought five lots of 565 megawatts to transmit over the Dobrotvirska thermal power plant-Zamosc (Poland) power line and export electricity to Belarus.
