KIEV, Aug. 8 – The Ukrainian side has received full payment for armored vehicles supplied under a contract with Iraq, according to the state-run Ukroboronprom concern.
"In general, the contract between Ukraine and Iraq for the supply of armored vehicles is being fulfilled on schedule. The Ukrainian manufacturers - in particular, Kharkiv-based Morozov design and engineering bureau and the Progress specialized foreign trade firm - have obtained payment in full for the manufactured hardware," reads a statement by Yulia Stryzhkina, the press secretary of Ukroboronprom's director general.
She said mass media reports about the refusal by the Iraqi side to issue an entrance visa to Ukroboronprom Director General Dmytro Salamatin did not correspond to reality.
