KIEV, Aug. 8 - President Viktor Yanukovych will visit Sochi, Russia, on August 11 for talks with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev, Yanukovych’s press service reported Monday.

This would be the second meeting between Medvedev and Yanukovych this year as relations between the two countries have cooled amid lack of progress in talks over natural gas supplies.

The two presidents planned to meet in Ukraine’s Sevastopol on July 31, but the meeting had been cancelled by the Russian party amid disagreements.
