KIEV, Aug. 5 – State-run company UkrSpecExport has signed a contract worth $140 million for the supply of an additional batch of 121 BTR-3E1 armored personnel carriers to the Royal Thai Army, said Dmytro Salamatin, director general of Ukroboronprom Concern.

He said the contract is the logical continuation of successful military technical cooperation between Ukraine and Thailand and will provide Ukraine's defense industrial enterprises with orders for several years.

According to sources, the contract is to run until 2015. The first shipment under the contract is scheduled for 2012.
